Following Scandoval’s aftermath, it’s definitely been unclear about what’s next for Vanderpump Rules. There was plenty of back-and-forth after that dramatic season 11 finale about who — if anyone — would return for future seasons. And then Bravo finally confirmed the suspicions fans had for a while: Vanderpump Rules season 12season 12 would get the full reboot treatment with an entirely new cast.
You read that correctly — 64-year-old Lisa Vanderpump and 40-year-old SUR manager Peter Madrigal will be taking a brand-new group of employees under their wings.
Now that season 12 is finally filming, according to Us Weekly, it’s time to dig into who’s actually joining the Vanderpump Rules universe. So grab your pumptini because we’re spilling everything we know so far!

What is ‘Vanderpump Rules’ about?

Vanderpump Rules first premiered on Bravo in early 2013 and has managed to survive 11 drama-packed seasons. The show centers around former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Lisa Vanderpump, who also co-owns the West Hollywood restaurant SUR. There, she manages a group of wild employees as they work to achieve their dreams in California.

Vanderpump Rules original cast members _ including Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, and Tom Schwartz — will not be returning to the show. Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, and Stassi Schroeder, aren’t expected to make a comeback, either.

Following the announcement of the reboot in November, Bravo called the new cast members “close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors. Under Lisa Vanderpump’s watchful eye, the West Hollywood mainstay SUR – and now TomTom – welcomes the next batch of servers, hosts, and bartenders rife with plenty of drama, situationships, and frenemies.”
More recently, on March 10, an inside source reportedly told The U.S. Sun of the cast, “They’re hot, they’re talented, and of course, they can be messy. I think they’ll fit right in on Bravo, and viewers will embrace them with open arms.”

The rumored cast members include Demyana Selem, who bears a striking resemblance to Scheana, model Marcus Johnson, and aspiring actresses Gabrielle Cagan and Gabriella Bella. Additionally, a long-haired up-and-coming male model named Venus (who started working at SUR in 2023) is said to be joining the cast, as well as Natalie Maguire, a Florida native who’s already shared a photo of herself on Instagram wearing SUR’s iconic server dress at the bar. She captioned the post, “Bottoms up hehe.”

All of the rumored cast members seem to be in their twenties, and Lisa shared her thoughts on the reboot back in February.
“When you have a restaurant, especially in Hollywood, with a revolving door of beautiful people who are all kinds of normally rather large personalities… they come to Hollywood for a reason, it’s always complicated. I am sure it’s gonna be very different with these young little minxes when they get to work, but we shall see,” she said.

Meanwhile, Peter claimed to know the fresh cast “pretty well,” possibly hinting at the hijinks to come on the show.
“There’s a lot of drama going on at the restaurant. There always is… so it’s going to be insane. It’s going to be a little bit intense, absolutely,” he explained.

Yet certain fans on social media don’t seem so convinced. The official SUR TikTok account @surrestaurantandlounge has shared two videos on the platform in anticipation of the latest season. The first, posted on February 25, featured a slideshow of portraits of the rumored new cast.
The TikTok received over 320,000 views but just under 11,000 likes, and fans of Vanderpump Rules had plenty to say in the comment section.
“If this is the new cast, I’m not watching,” wrote one user.
“This is the Temu version of VPR,” joked another, followed by a laughing emoji.
“This looks like when Gen Z discovered VPR and all dressed as SURvers for Halloween,” added a third.

Then, about one week ago, the SUR TikTok account shared another video of the female cast members sitting together in front of the bar while a cameraman snapped photos. In the background of the clip, Oops!… I Did It Again by Britney Spears is playing, and again, commenters didn’t hold their initial thoughts back.
“It’s like a room of Scheana doppelgangers,” noted one TikToker.
“Ummm, Stassi raised us. We already don’t like the new girls,” opined a second with a rolling-eyes emoji.
“I’d take Lala and Scheana over this, and that says a lot,” admitted a third.

Bravo has yet to announce a specific release date for Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules, but it is rumored to premiere sometime this summer. How well it’s received by OG fans remains to be seen.
