These VPR Cast Members Aren’t Saying Goodbye To Bravo Forever, Here’s Who Is Joining Season 2 Of The Valley
When Bravo’s The Valley premiered its first season, fans were excited to see familiar faces. Vanderpump Rules alums Kristen Doute, and former couple Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor made their reality TV return. The show also featured couples Danny and Nia Booko, Jason and Janet Caperna, and Jesse and Michelle Lally, who are now separated. Kristen’s boyfriend-turned-fiance, Luke Broderick, also stars in the series.
The series follows couples living in the San Fernando Valley and how they navigate their relationships, friendships, businesses, and growing families. And, like VPR, it delivered a lot of drama. Season 2 is set to premiere in 2025, and viewers can expect even more VPR alum’s to make appearances.
With VPR being rebooted with a brand-new cast for Season 12, fans will see three alums coming back to Bravo. But, are they happy about it?
Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, And Lala Kent Are Joining Season 2 Of The Valley
As of this writing, there is no official premiere date for Season 2 of The Valley, but fans are anticipating a drama-filled season. As the couples navigate messy separations, new romances, and intense friendship feuds, Deadline announced that Vanderpump Rules alums Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, and Tom Schwartz will make appearances in the new season.
It was already rumored that both Lala and Scheana would appear in Season 2 after photos captured the two attending a party thrown by Brittany in August. An Instagram user named @theblondepuertorican2 shared a snippet of a pregnant Lala and Scheana speaking with cast member Jesse at the party.

Interestingly, when fans learned that Lala and Scheana were filming scenes with The Valley cast, they were not on board. On the same Instagram post, fans shared, “Won’t be watching the valley season 2 now.” Another wrote, “Bravo doesn’t listen to us.” A third comment read, “Ughhhhhhh we don’t need or want them on the valley.”
However, will they change their minds now that VPR did a complete overhaul with a brand-new cast in the upcoming Season 12?
There is no news on whether Lala, Scheana or Tom will be main cast members, friends, or guests in The Valley, but it’s heavily assumed that they’ll be “friends” of the cast. Deadline reported that filming was completed for the second season and that Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies, will also be seen in the show.
Scheana And Lala Will Be Support Systems For Brittany Cartwright During Her Separation From Jax Taylor

If Scheana and Lala come in as “friends” of The Valley cast, it’s certain that they will be a big support system for Brittany, who would be going through her separation in Season 2. According to Us Weekly, Lala lives in the San Fernando Valley, and is friends with most of the cast, so “it’s natural for Lala to be around everyone [on The Valley]. It’s not forced.”
As for Tom, it is assumed that he’d be on the show as a “friend of Jax’s.”
In February, just a month before Season 1 of The Valley premiered, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor announced their separation. That July, Jax entered an in-patient facility for mental health treatment for 30-days, and when he returned home, Brittany filed for divorce.
According to People, when filming began for Season 2, Brittany and Jax refused to film with one another. Jax also began filming after he got out of treatment.
“At this time, the pair aren’t capable of being in the same room together or being in communication with one another. Brittany has reached her limit and remains strong to do what is best for herself and her son. During this time, she’s received support from her family and friends.”
The same source also noted that fans will see both Brittany and Jax’s side of the story. “There’s two sides to every story and Jax has his views that will be addressed once he’s back. His focus is to be amicable co-parents for the sake of their son.”
In an appearance on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast in November, Brittany was asked about what surprised her the most in the upcoming Season 2. Besides Kristen and Luke getting engaged (Kristen is now pregnant), she shared that it was herself finally filing for divorce, which fans will get to see.
“In my own life, I think that me actually going and filing was a surprise ’cause I wasn’t sure when I was going to do it, how I was going to do it, if I was going to do it.” When asked how she felt when she filed, Brittany admitted she felt “relieved.”
During Brittany’s interview, it was revealed that fans could also look forward to nasty text feuds between her and Jax, which she called “rage texts,” and her hook-up with Jax’s friend after their separation. So, if fans were looking for a show as drama-filled as the VPR alums gave us, The Valley is where it is at.
Fans Have Mixed Reactions To Seeing More VPR Alums In The Valley
A Reddit thread that discussed Scheana, Lala, and Tom making their way to The Valley was met with a lot of criticism. It appeared that most fans were okay with seeing their storylines end with Season 11 of VPR, especially that of Lala’s.
“I think of Lala as a ‘house of villains’ person not a ‘valley’ person,” a Reddit user wrote, while other users shared cruel comments, “Oh you will see her pop in every d-list show. She needs to pay for her house.” “Hopefully Lala’s involvement is very minimal because she can and will ruin the show.”

It appears that Bravo viewers aren’t very happy with Lala because they may not like her outspoken personality, with one user suggesting she should even be on “Bad girls club so someone can finally pop her off.” However, there were a few commenters who were happy to see Lala on the show.
“The Valley already has Janet, but maybe Lala can put her in her place,” one wrote. Another said, “Honestly this might be the redemption season Lala needs if she pulls it off.”
The Reddit thread also saw commenters discussing how Tom will make an impact on The Valley and if fans will see a different side of him.
“It’ll be interesting to see Schwartz without adult loser Sandoval. What will his personality be now without his puppeteer?”
These same users did however, agree that they were pleased to be seeing Scheana. “Look. Unpopular opinion: im okay with Scheana and Schwartz.” Another agreed, “Scheana was made for reality tv and I will gladly watch her embarrass herself as long as she wants.”
A Reddit user also shared what many might have been to afraid to admit: “Unpopular opinion: I like the fact that they’re all friends in real life. It’s better than random castings from the outside.”
