ROYAL SURPRISE🌟William, Catherine With Children PREPARED Leaving London For Overseas Holiday

This year could see the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, break from the tradition of recent years and plan a major holiday far away from the UK. While it’s unlikely that Catherine will make an international trip due to her health, it’s impossible to conclusively say that she hasn’t gone to the last moment. Indeed, the 42-year-old certainly likes to spring things on us these days.

According to a staff insider, William and Catherine could be planning another third destination. Sources say that if Princess Catherine is well enough, they may escape to Mystique, her favorite holiday destination, for some sunshine. The private Caribbean island of Mystique was once a regular haunt for the Prince and Princess and their kids. It was the destination of baby George’s first overseas trip in August of 2014.

For years before the pandemic, the Wales family would pack up, along with their longtime nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Balo, as much mosquito repellent as would fit in an Asprey streamer trunk and jet off to enjoy a beachy break. Birthday boy George is no stranger to the island, having spent his fifth and sixth birthdays there too. Clearly, it’s somewhere the family can let their hair down.

While on Mystique, the Wales kids get up to activities like tennis, volleyball, and drinks at the famed Basil’s Bar. Supposedly, the Prince drinks vodka cranberries, while his wife orders piña coladas. The interesting thing in all of it is that the palace can make it happen. What the last couple of months have demonstrated is that they move with a degree of agility that we could not have predicted this time last year.

When the children go on holiday, the Prince and Princess of Wales often accompany them to a location near Amner Hall. The royal couple, as well as many other members of the British royal family, have been voracious ski enthusiasts for a long time. In 2016, the Wales family took their older children to the French Alps for their first skiing adventure. The couple shared a collection of charming family photos, including George and Charlotte wearing snowsuits during their holiday.

It was also reported that the family of five was seen on a skiing holiday in Courchevel, France, during the Easter holiday last year. When handing out its 2021 Christmas cards, Kensington Palace revealed that Prince William and Princess Catherine were taking their children George, Charlotte, and Louis on holiday to Jordan.

2024 has been anything but normal for William and Catherine and their family. In the current climate, if the Wales family were to head off to bob around the balmy waters and try to reinflate Louis’ inflatable polo pony, it would be a particularly positive sign about the Princess.

Even if the family is getting ready for an international trip, traveling essentials for Royals include passports, wallets, phones, and other personal items. But for Royals flying abroad, it means one extra item—and it’s for a grim reason. Princess Catherine, as well as other Royals embarking on a flight, will need to carry a black dress or other formal wear with them.

This isn’t just so they have formal attire, but in case any other Royal dies during the journey. The protocol was established after the late Queen Elizabeth II had been on an emergency flight back to the UK in 1952 when King George VI died. The then-Princess Elizabeth was not in the UK when she became Queen; she was instead at the beginning of a Commonwealth tour in Kenya when her father suddenly died at Sandringham House in Norfolk from lung cancer at the age of 56.

As King George VI’s death was unexpected, the Queen had not packed a black dress to take with her on her official tour. Her plane landed in London Airport the day after the King died, on February 7th. A suitable dress was brought aboard for her to change into before she disembarked.
