Queen Camilla put on a chic display as she donned a Dior suit following rumours that Meghan Markle was set to become the face of the brand.
Queen Camilla beamed from ear to ear as she stepped out in a grey suit which was created by luxury fashion house Dior – which may be taken as a swipe towards the Duchess of Sussex. The 77-year-old bravely soldiered on with her duties representing the Royal Family after giving a recent update on her health struggles.
Rumours swirled last year that Meghan Markle was set to become the face of Dior. It was reported that if she signed the mega-deal which most likely would have been a three-year contract, then she could have earned up to £20 million.
Meghan, 43, who currently resides in the United States with Prince Harry has donned many looks over the years by Dior. At the Queen’s funeral back in 2022 she put on a sombre ensemble which was made by them.
The following year during King Charles III’s coronation they also dressed Prince Harry, 40, for the glitzy occasion. Since stepping back from the monarchy and creating a life across the pond has struck up paid partnerships with Netflix and Spotify.
In June 2023, it was reported that Meghan was in talks with Dior over a lucrative signing. This came after the cancellation of her podcast on the popular streaming platform after just one season.

This sparked a widespread frenzy with speculation circling that the Duchess of Sussex was poised for a new role with the French fashion house.
Although this was quickly shut down by close sources at the time with it being said that there was no contract being drawn up.
Dior also expressed their shock over the headlines and confusion over a proposed deal. A source told the Telegraph: “The Duchess of Sussex is not in talks to sign a deal with Dior.

“There is no truth to the claims that she will partner with the French fashion house,”
A Dior insider said its team was “nonplussed as to how the story came about”. Since then Meghan has not been publicly spotted in the label.
Meanwhile, Queen Camilla was forced to withdraw from several engagements and pulled out of an open air procession yesterday welcoming the Qatari Royal Family during a state visit. It had been revealed that she contracted pneumonia a while ago and was still recovering.
Her medical team have advised her to take a series of precautions to make a full recovery. Today, she joined forces with Brigitte Macron who is the French First Lady.
Camilla presented a prize promoting literature from all corners of the UK and France. At the event in London, the two women celebrated the Entente Littéraire.
Although this was officially launched during King Charles and Camilla’s official visit to France last year.
