MOMENT Prince Louis Sweetly Looking At Charlotte For Seeking Comfort Makes Our Eyes Well Up In Tears
The Prince and Princess of Wales’s younger children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, recently melted hearts during the Together at Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey. A new photo shared by their royal parents shows the siblings sharing a sweet moment, highlighting their close bond. Little Louis is gazing up at his big sister, who’s peering back at him, while their older brother, Prince George, follows closely behind.
It’s clear that all three of the Prince and Princess of Wales’s children have a close bond, and royal fans love getting to witness it from time to time when the family of five is out and about in public.
The photograph shared by the Wales family was, of course, taken from the festive evening earlier this month, which their mother spearheaded. Throughout the concert, the close bond between the royal siblings was on full display. Charlotte was seen helping her little brother light his candle—a tender act that underscores her nurturing role.
The three siblings also took part in a touching tradition outside of the Abbey, placing handwritten notes on the “Kindness Tree.” Louis dedicated his note to his maternal grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton, writing, “Thank you to Granny and Grandpa because they have played games with me.”
It was the fourth annual event of its kind, and it saw various members of the royal family gather at the Abbey in central London, along with familiar public figures, to celebrate togetherness at Christmas time. The event also celebrated the resilience and kindness of individuals who have made a difference in their community.
There were many other special moments between the three royal siblings and Prince William and Catherine during the event, particularly during the service. All three children seemed to be at ease with the camera crew and waiting photographers. Outside, the royal children were impeccably dressed for the occasion, with George and Louis matching in dark blue suits paired with festive red ties. Charlotte mirrored her mum’s style, donning a red coat dress with navy tights and a red bow in her hair.
The Together at Christmas concert not only showcased the resilience of communities but also highlighted the close bond within the Wales family, leaving royal fans touched by the love and connection between Charlotte, Louis, and their older brother George.
Every year, the Wales family releases a Christmas card, and fans look forward to seeing the picture of the five of them together. This year, the family released their photo just under a week before Christmas, and after a difficult year, fans were delighted to see them all looking happy.
“Fans were thrilled to wish the family a happy holiday. ‘It’s been a rough 2024, but you’ve made it through together. 2025 will be full of health and joy,’ one person commented. ‘Perfect Christmas card for everyone who watched the video. I hope the joy of Princess Catherine’s recovery makes this the most special one,’ someone else wrote. ‘You’ve all come through so much this last year. May you all have a peaceful and healthy 2025,’ another user added.”
In further connection to the younger generation of royals, King Charles and Queen Camilla turned to Millie Pilkington, the famous go-to photographer, to capture the image. Pilkington is a trusted family photographer who has previously shot numerous family portraits for Prince William and Princess Catherine, and her involvement in the King and Queen’s card adds a personal touch to the image.
William and Catherine will continue their family’s annual tradition of spending Christmas at Sandringham. As always, the family will likely attend Christmas Day mass and then celebrate with King Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, and others. However, a number of royals will not be participating in the royal family festivities this year, including Prince Andrew, who is at odds with Charles over a number of things. Andrew’s family—Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie—are also reportedly not attending Christmas. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as expected, will not attend either.
Since the Wales family is likely elated over the Princess’s recovery, they will not concern themselves with the absences of the other royals.
