Lala Kent has been open about how she used a sperm donor to help conceive her youngest daughter, Sosa Kent. And during a recent podcast episode, the Vanderpump Rules alum revealed how much Sosa resembles the sperm donor.
Lala documented the process of finding her sperm donor to help conceive her youngest daughter, whom she welcomed in September 2024. During an April 16 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala, she admitted that she doesn’t “even think” about her sperm donor now that her daughter is seven months old. But, she does have two childhood photos of him, and he does resemble Sosa a little bit.
“It was the first like, toddler photo and then his first school picture,” Lala said of the photos that she has. “And I will say she does have his ears.”
She also admitted that Sosa and the sperm donor share the same “little smile.” But she is unsure about Sosa’s nose, especially since her oldest daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, has her nose. “The nose, I’m still iffy about,” she added. “I’m like, ‘She doesn’t have my nose and Ocean has my nose.’ So I’m like, ‘Does she have Gigi’s nose? Or does she have the donor’s nose?”
“So yeah, the answer is I don’t think about the guy until I guess this weekend,” she concluded. “I was like, ‘Wait, let’s kind of deep dive into this.'”
Lala ultimately revealed that Sosa really resembles her grandma (Lala’s mom), Lisa Burningham, whom her daughters refer to as “Gigi.” “She’s Gigi in the eyes,” Lala said.
She continued, admitting that she thinks she gave birth to her mom’s twin. “It was very weird. And I try not to think about it too much,” she joked. “But I am happy that I have a kid that looks like me.”

Lala’s decision to have a sperm donor is something that she does not take lightly. During a March 2024 Amazon Live stream, Lala admitted that she was excited to get to parent Sosa alone. “The best part about my baby daddy is that he doesn’t exist,” she said.
“I have been pretty open about wanting to really have full control of — I guess not my child, but having them around me at all times,” she admitted. “I went through a really hard time with my past and just with Ocean, and I will say, my heart will always be up for grabs. I believe in love. I know that I will find love again, but for me, my child will never be up for grabs.”
Lala Kent opens up about Sosa’s latest milestone
Sosa also just celebrated a major milestone — her first teeth have come in, just in time for her to start eating solid food. Lala took to her Instagram Story in late March, where she showed off Sosa’s first teeth, located on the bottom half of her mouth.
“Let’s see your teeth. Let me see,” Lala said in the now-disappeared Instagram video, giving a peek at the sprouting teeth. “There they are!” she exclaimed.
