The Valley star, Kristen Doute has called her executive producer and former co-star, Lisa Vanderpump “disgustingly diabolical.” It is no secret that the two have had a contentious relationship for years. Yet, what has Kristen so enraged this time around? Keep reading for more details.
Kristen Doute On Lisa Vanderpump: ‘Disgustingly Diabolical’
Since Vanderpump Rules started, Kristen Doute and Lisa Vanderpump have struggled to get along. LVP even noted she would have fired her from SUR years before she did. Yet, she also maintained that she was a good server and had been there for years so she opted to keep her around. There was so much drama that Kristen brought into the restaurant but it was also good for the show. Finally, Kristen was fired from SUR in Season 3 after being rude to a manager but her attitude never stopped. She did hope that she and LVP could make amends but that never happened.
Kristen could not understand how LVP could hold a grudge against her for so long yet forgive Stassi Schroeder who was also disrespectful. In 2020, after Season 8, Kristen and Stassi were fired from VPR. However, Kristen was welcomed to the spinoff, The Valley, which LVP executive produces. In November 2024, Kristen announced she and her fiance, Luke Broderick were expecting a baby. To that, LVP asked if Kristen knew who the father was which was not received well. Now, she is slamming Lisa for defending James Kennedy, who Kristen dated for around two years.
He was arrested in December 2024 for allegedly picking up and throwing his now ex-girlfriend, Ally Lewber to the ground. The charges have since been dropped but Kristen Doute has claimed Bravo knew he was abusive and covered it up. According to All About The Tea, Lisa Vanderpump commented on the situation and defended James, saying this:
“The first [and] most important thing for me was [to know] what happened exactly. I didn’t need to just hear from James. I needed to hear from Ally, too, from her mouth what happened. She told me categorically he didn’t hurt her. He never hurts her. They were both drinking… She basically said, ‘Oh yes, take him away. It’ll teach him a lesson.’ But no, he didn’t hurt her categorically. … She regrets what happened with how this blew up.”
After Kristen caught wind of what LVP said, she took to her Instagram stories with a screenshot of the article from which it came. There, she referred to the comments as: “absolutely and disgustingly diabolical.”
Enabling Behavior
Kristen Doute and James Kennedy’s ex-fiancee, Rachel Leviss have called out Lisa Vanderpump for being a male sympathizer. Additionally, Kristen noted how frustrated she was with Lisa consistently enabling James and his bad behavior:
“I will never, ever be okay with this constant abuse-enabling behavior. To have the audacity to dumb down not only facts, but also feelings, makes me sick to my stomach. To every woman who is a survivor of DV and wasn’t believed or supported, I am so sorry.”
Both ladies have allegedly been through James’ bad behavior but it was all covered up. When he was arrested, they were relieved but having LVP rush to his side just adds insult to injury. Fortunately, Ally has ended the relationship and is moving on. She has been posting on social media and followers say they see sadness in her eyes but hopefully, she will find the light at the end of the tunnel.
