Katie Maloney Calls Out Lisa Vanderpump
Before Vanderpump Rules was officially rebooted, Katie Maloney was apparently not planning on returning for Season 12. She was an OG and had made up her mind that it was time to move on. Other cast members shared that they were done as well. At the same time, their former “boss,” Lisa Vanderpump, has been called out for catering to the toxic males. When Tom Sandoval was coming down from ‘Scandoval,’ she tried desperately to get the females to feel for and forgive him. That was not happening for many of the ladies and caused a great divide. There was also the issue of James Kennedy and his bad behavior.
He had allegedly been abusive toward his exes, Kristen Doute and Rachel Leviss. However, nothing was ever done, and he kept his job on the show. In December 2024, James was arrested for alleged domestic violence against his girlfriend, Ally Lewber. No charges were filed, but she ended it. According to Ally, LVP called her up two months after it happened and encouraged her to stay with James. Now, Katie chimed in with more ways Lisa supported the men on the show over the ladies. When she and Tom Schwartz were going through their divorce, Lisa was not on Katie’s side.

On The Viall Files, Katie Maloney said this of Lisa Vanderpump:
“When Tom and I were divorcing, she made me feel like I wasn’t justified or valid in my reasons. Also, [Lisa] made it about her. She’s like, ‘I wrote those vows.’ Like, the constantly wanting to be acknowledged for the generous things she’s done in life, but often and unwavering.”
This is very on brand for LVP and how she has been known to make the men a priority. She went into business with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz yet did not acknowledge Katie and Ariana Madix’s sandwich shop opening.
Are Fans Suprised?
After hearing what Katie Maloney said about Lisa Vanderpump, were fans all that shocked? More so, could they believe she made Tom and Katie’s divorce all about herself? Some were shocked that the cast, such as Katie and Scheana Shay, had turned on LVP. They felt they would not have careers without her and the show. However, it was the cast that made the show entertaining and dramatic:

Vanderpump Rules has now been rebooted with an entirely new cast. The spin-off, The Valley, has taken Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, and Tom Schwartz over to their side. Yet, it is unclear if they will have bigger roles come Season 3, if there is one.
