The magazine claims that Kate Middleton played a key role in arranging the meeting, reaching out to Harry months in advance. While he was preparing for a trip to the UK, Kate reportedly shared their holiday plans and extended an invitation for him to join them for lunch. However, Harry did not confirm his attendance until he was already en route from Canada.
An insider revealed that Harry initially appeared tense but gradually relaxed after playing with the children. He reportedly stayed into the evening, creating a rare opportunity to reconnect with his family. If true, this meeting could offer a glimmer of hope for healing fractured relationships within the royal family, particularly between Harry and his brother’s children.
However, despite this alleged reunion, tensions between Prince William and Prince Harry remain high. Since Harry’s departure from royal duties and the public fallout between the brothers, they have reportedly not been on speaking terms. During Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in 2022 and other family events, William remained distant, refusing direct communication with Harry.
Sources close to Prince William suggest that he remains deeply upset over Harry’s actions, and the strain was evident when both attended the memorial service for their uncle, Lord Robert Fellows, in August 2024. Despite being in the same place, the brothers reportedly did not exchange a single word, further emphasizing the ongoing rift.
Both Kensington Palace and representatives for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have declined to comment on the alleged Mustique reunion.
