Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney’s friendship is still going so strong. The Vanderpump Rules besties and Something About Her co-owners are always finding ways to show up and support one another — whether it’s attending a birthday dinner or leaving an encouraging comment.
Ariana did that latter on Feb. 9 when Katie took to Instagram and posted a professionally shot video, filmed at Something About Her. In the video, Katie can be seen wearing a disguise comprised of a trench coat and sunglasses, walking into the café to try her “perfect sandwich.” “You can’t fake a good sandwich,” Katie concluded in the clip.
Katie’s friends, including Ariana, took to the comments of the post, where they left the sweetest words of encouragement on the super fun video. “10/10 would watch you do this as a full-length feature,” she wrote, alongside several heart eyes emojis. Ariana also took to her Instagram Story, where she reposted the adorable video, and praised Katie’s performance. “The look,” she wrote, tagging Katie and Something About Her. “So cute.”

According to the Instagram account for Something About Her, the Los Angeles eatery is currently open Wednesdays through Sundays. They host tea parties and have also partnered with several other brands for collaborations.
Ariana Madix celebrates Katie Maloney’s birthday
Ariana was also on hand to celebrate Katie’s birthday when she turned 39 in January. She took to her Instagram Story at the time, where she showed off the Disrespectfully podcast host celebrating her birthday at dinner, surrounded by her friends. In the photos, Katie blew out candles, made her birthday wish, and hung out alongside the dinner attendees, who all wore black.
Has Ariana Madix met Katie Maloney’s boyfriend, Nick Martin?
Yes! Most recently, Ariana took to Instagram on Feb. 6, where she posted photos and videos taken from her life lately. In the carousel, Ariana can be seen taking a selfie at Something About Her; kissing her boyfriend, Daniel Wai; and hanging out with Katie and her boyfriend, Nick Martin.
Ariana was able to snap a video of Katie, sitting next to Nick at the dinner table, smiling widely before hiding her face from the camera. Nick, meanwhile, could not hide his joy from the camera and looked so in love next to Katie. Several of Ariana’s Instagram commenters couldn’t help but notice that Katie looked very “in love.” “Fr,” Ariana replied. “I die.”
Others noted that Katie even appears to be engaged to Nick, but, Ariana quickly dispelled those rumors. “You would never learn about something as monumental as that from my Instagram,” she wrote in reply to one Instagram commenter.
Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix have “similar thoughts” on VPR Season 12 cast shakeup
Katie and Ariana have continued to hang out and talk about hot topics like the Vanderpump Rules cast shakeup. In November 2024, it was announced that VPR would return for Season 12 with a brand new cast of SUR-vers. Katie took to her podcast on Dec. 4, where she revealed that she and Ariana had discussed the news together.
“I’ve talked to Ariana and I talked to Tom Schwartz, but that’s it,” Katie said. “I mean, Ariana and I have very, very similar thoughts and feelings.”
