On January 29, 2024, Ariana Madix made her Broadway debut, playing Roxie Hart in “Chicago.” She received such high reviews, with her first seven days having earned the show its highest-grossing non-holiday performance week. Madix remained in the role until April.
However, the stage was calling once again, and Madix returned for a month in August 2024.
While she has so many different business ventures going on, Broadway was always one of Madix’s dreams. And a possible return is certainly not out of the question.
“I would love to return to Broadway, whether it’s this year or next year [or] any year, I just love being on stage. I love performing, I would love to be doing more of that,” Madix said to PEOPLE in a March 13 interview. “It’s really fun and it’s really fulfilling for me, and I love being able to do that.”
Ariana Madix’s Love For Broadway Stemmed From Her Grandmother
During the interview with PEOPLE on March 13, Madix explained how she was thinking of her grandmother, who passed away in 2022, during her entire tenure on Broadway.
“I had a poster of her that my uncle gave me in my dressing room at Chicago, and so every night before I went out, before I started my song, “Funny Honey,” I would be up on that ladder and I would look up into the stage light and just think of my grandma,” Madix explained.
“She’s someone who I always looked up to and so I do things for her. I was like, ‘I’m going to do it for my grandma. I’m going to pick myself back up.’ I had decided that I was going to try to just do the best that I could, to be everything that she always wanted for me.”

Not only is Madix a Broadway star, but she also has a lot of other things going on. She currently owns a sandwich shop called Something About Her, with her “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Katie Maloney.
But, that’s not all. She also has a guest role in season 3 of ‘Will Trent.’
“Hi, I’m Ariana Madix and I’m playing Ariana Madix on season three of Will Trent. And it’s been so much fun playing myself but playing a very over-the-top version of myself and my life,” Madix said in the teaser on Instagram. “There’s a lot of things in here that I do that my character does that are fun and exciting. You’re definitely going to have to tune in and see all of my special skills.”
Plus, Madix is gearing up for another summer in Fiji hosting “Love Island USA.”
