Catherine’s RISING Privilege Leaves Camilla The MOST LOST EVER As She Taken All Jewelry For Herself

When you’ve spent decades together, you’ve earned the right to demand a symbol of your commitment—something tangible that speaks louder than words, a ring that tells the world of your bond, your history, and your unity. But in the rarified air of royalty, such symbols come with weighty consequences.

Queen Camila, dazzling the world with a breathtaking diamond, has not only kept her place in the royal spotlight but also set the stage for a drama of incredible proportions. Was this ring a symbol of love and unity, or was it simply the final piece in a much larger game, one that could soon bring everything crashing down?

Remembering the heated story from the state visit of South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa to London, when the Princess of Wales debuted a new heirloom brooch that has links to both Princess Diana and Queen Camila. The brooch, which features the Prince of Wales feathers, comprises diamonds with a Kashon emerald drop. It was pinned to Catherine’s custom plum-colored Amelia Wickstead coat dress when she greeted the president at his hotel.

Dating back to 1863, the brooch was originally a present given to Princess Alexandra of Denmark by a contingent of ladies from Wales upon her marriage to Prince Albert Edward, the eldest son of Queen Victoria. Traditionally, the Prince of Wales feathers symbol is worn only by the incumbent Prince and his spouse, who takes the courtesy title of Princess of Wales. At that time, the couple had the title bestowed upon them by King Charles in one of his first moves as Monarch in September.

The brooch was not seen again until 2006 when it appeared on Prince Charles’s second wife, Camila Parker Bowles, after her marriage to Charles in 2005. The new royal chose to be called The Duchess of Cornwall after her husband’s secondary title and avoided Princess of Wales out of respect for Diana. However, the jewels seem to be passed to each Princess of Wales, and it was worn by the Queen Consort throughout her marriage.

This did not come without controversy. On its first outing, many criticized The Duchess for wearing a jewel that had once belonged to Diana, given that the Princess spoke openly of her unhappiness caused by her husband’s extramarital relationship with Camila.

Camila wore the brooch again in 2012 during a visit to the horse races at Cheltenham. It is one of the only royal heirlooms that both Camila and Diana have worn, and has now been passed to Catherine. It was not the only piece of royal jewelry worn by the princess. At the state banquet held in the evening, she appeared wearing the glittering Queen Mary Lovers Knot tiara with pearl and diamond earrings from Diana’s collection.

Catherine has increasingly worn jewels with historical significance to pay tribute or respect. Most notably, in September, she attended the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth, wearing jewels that had been loaned to her by the monarch. Another case, Maxwell Stone, a jewelry expert with the UK retailer Steven Stone, shared that the brooch, which features pave-set diamonds around a single pearl, was made in 1919.

Queen Camila isn’t the only member of the royal family to memorably wear a horseshoe-shaped brooch. She attended the Ascot Chase race day at Ascot Racecourse and donned the Sapphire and Ruby Minu brooch, which dates back to the reign of King Edward VII. He commissioned it to celebrate his horse Minu’s success at the Epsom Derby.

The horseshoe brooch Princess Charlotte wore to the state funeral of her gan-gan back in 2022 as a tribute to her great grandmother’s passion for horses is a neatly studded diamond pin that once belonged to the Queen Mother. The brooch was actually gifted to the young princess by Queen Elizabeth II.

When Catherine first married into the royal family, she wore very modest new jewels. As she’s grown into her role as a member of the royal family, we’ve seen her wear more important historical pieces. She saves them for special occasions, which makes me think she appreciates the history behind them and their significance in her collection.

She seems to be more confident wearing grand pieces, and as she takes on a larger role in the family and in support of the king, I think we’ll see her wear more pieces that reflect that role.

The Princess of Wales looked stunning last week as she made an appearance at Wellington Barracks in London to take part in the Irish Guards’ St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. As the colonel of the Irish Guards, she did not attend the event last year as she was diagnosed with a type of cancer and was undergoing treatment for it.

The future queen looked radiant in a dark green coat by Alexander McQueen, a color-matching hat, black suede high-heeled boots, black gloves, and a black leather bag. For jewelry, she opted for KiKi McD’s green tourmaline, green amethyst, and diamond earrings in 18K gold.
