Ariana Madix Reveals What’s Next for Something About Her, Including a Possible New Location
Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney have big plans for Something About Her — the West Hollywood sandwich shop they launched 10 months ago.
Ariana teased the business moves during a recent interview for People StyleWatch, saying she and her former Vanderpump Rules castmate had “lots of things in the works.”
“It’s been really fun,” the cocktail book author said about the restaurant venture. “It’s really nice to have a place to go, it’s lovely when we get to meet people who come in.”
Ariana said she and Katie plan to throw more SAH events, like their newly introduced tea parties. They’re also open to expanding the business with a new location — that is, if the “right investor” comes along.

Ariana and Katie announced their sandwich shop plans in Vanderpump Rules Season 9 (2022) but didn’t open the business until two years later. Katie attributed the long delay to construction and permit issues.
“We had to rip out an entire patio,” she said during an April 2024 interview with E! News. “So we’ve had to get a whole new awning made, we’ve had to get new permits for that, [and] that took forever. Public Works and Safety, they just — talk to them. I’ll give you their phone number if you want to talk to them and ask [what the hold up is].”
SAH officially opened its doors in May 2024, and it appears the business is still thriving.
“I’m really glad we went through a detailed planning process… before we got our location or anything,” Ariana told The Daily Dish during the shop’s grand opening. “I think us being able to roll with the punches, and just keep going, and keep looking ahead, and keep believing, and staying committed to it, I think that’s how we were able to get to this point.”
