“My girlfriends would absolutely expect that I have something to feed them. We have a veggie platter, crudités, every day in our house.”
During her chat with her friend, Meghan opens up about how her son once caught two trout while on a fishing trip in the summer and how much she enjoys salt-baking fish with her children, Archie and Princess Lilibet.
She says: “Do you remember last year when I went on a family vacation and I told you Archie caught two fish? Like, what are we going to do with this fish?
“So we just did a big salt-baked fish. I had two kids and we had two trout. I was like, we are going to salt bake a fish because it would be fun for them. They loved it. It was very sweet.”

She adds: “I want them to have great formative memories of being there with me.”
King Charles is known to enjoy fishing himself, partiularly fly-fishing, following the footsteps of his own father, the late Prince Philip, while his sons, Prince Harry and Prince William are also thought to know how to fish.
Elsewhere in the series, the duchess shows how to prepare a family dish she named “single skillet spaghetti” – which is a one-pan tomato-based pasta recipe.
Meghan reveals that her family love the recipe so much that she keeps any leftovers for Archie and Lilibet’s lunchboxes.
