The Valley Season 2 Cast Salaries Revealed, Plus What Do They Do For a Living?
“The Valley” has returned for season 2, and that means bigger paychecks for the cast. The stars of the “Vanderpump Rules” spinoff reportedly receive a “significant pay bump” because the second season will have more episodes than the first. Here’s what we know about the cast’s new salaries, and what they do for a living when they are away from Bravo cameras.
‘The Valley’ Season 2 Cast Got Hefty Raises
According to The U.S. Sun, “The Valley” stars are getting a double pay bump. Season 2’s expanded episode count and first-ever reunion pushed everyone’s pay up.
“For season 2, every cast member’s pay was significantly increased. In addition to the big bump, they will also make more as they will film more episodes,” a source dished.
“Vanderpump Rules” veterans are at the top of the salary list. Jax Taylor earned $30K per episode in the first season, banking a total of $360K for the 12-episode run. His ex, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute reportedly earned between $20K-$25K per episode in season 1, which adds up to $240K-$300K each.
Based on screen time, newcomers like Jesse Lally, Michelle Lally, Nia Booko, Danny Booko, Jason Caperna, and Janet Caperna earned $5K—$10K per episode.
Supporting players Jasmine Goode and Zack Wickham likely pulled $1K-$5K per episode.
The Cast Has Diverse Careers Beyond the Bravo Cameras
Starring in “The Valley” isn’t the only source of income for these Bravo stars. The cast actually has jobs that are as eclectic as their drama.
Taylor co-owns Jax’s Studio City bar and hosts the “In the Mind of a Man” podcast. Cartwright runs “When Reality Hits with Brittany Cartwright,” but her bar, Britt’s WeHo, fizzled out.
Doute and fiancé Luke Broderick co-host their “Balancing Act” podcast and sell her James Mae t-shirts. Jesse and Michelle Lally, who are currently in a messy divorce, are luxury real estate agents at The Beverly Hills Estates. Michelle also just launched a podcast called “Pursuit of Sassiness.”
Jason Caperna is a workers’ compensation attorney at Acumen Law, LLP, while Janet Caperna, a former executive assistant, focuses on parenting. Danny Booko has a resume filled with acting roles in movies like “Deadpool” and “The Fault in Our Stars.” He also does voiceover work.
Nia Booko, Miss USA 2014, is a mom expecting her fourth child. Goode, a former NFL cheerleader and “Bachelor” alum, works in real estate. And Wickham is a freelance PR and social media consultant. The cast also boosts their respective incomes with side hustles like Cameo, where Wickham charges $50 per clip.
Where the Stars of ‘The Valley’ Season 2 Went to School — and What They Studied
Just because the cast members are making big bucks as reality stars doesn’t mean they lack higher education. Many of “The Valley” cast members boast some college credentials, and one has a history in the military. Taylor briefly attended Michigan State before joining the Navy, while Cartwright studied nursing at Eastern Kentucky University. Doute skipped college but built her own brand.
Jesse Lally studied at Norwich University and UMass Lowell, while Michelle Lally went to Cal State San Marcos. Jason Caperna earned a JD from Loyola Law School after Boston College, and Janet Caperna graduated from Ohio University.
Danny Booko attended North Park University, and Goode went to Howard University. Wickham has a University of Louisville degree and a Bellarmine MBA.
Season 2 of “The Valley” airs Tuesdays on Bravo.
