It’s no secret that Ariana Madix has experienced major friendship changes over the past two years, but her relationship with Brittany Cartwright is still going strong.
The Vanderpump Rules alum confirmed this on Tuesday, March 18, when she posted a photo of her and Brittany’s reunion in Hollywood. The former castmates crossed paths while attending the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, where they snapped a cute behind-the-scenes picture at Dolby Theatre.
“It was so good to see you last night!” Brittany captioned the Story. “Been too long!”
Ariana reshared the photo on her Instagram, adding a handful of heart emojis.

The awards show occurred more than a year after Brittany confirmed her separation from her husband, Jax Taylor. Shortly after the announcement, The Valley mom opened up about her marital split and the support she received from her former Vanderpump Rules castmates, including Ariana.
“Ariana’s been checking in on me from New York,” Brittany told The Daily Dish, referring to Ariana’s run in the Broadway musical Chicago. “And that means a lot to me ‘cause I know she’s so busy with the show and stuff, but she’s definitely been checking in on me.”

Brittany, who filed to divorce Jax in August 2024, said she’s also remained quite close with Vanderpump Rules alums Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, and Lala Kent.
“They’re probably the closest in my life,” she said about her ex-castmates. “Nothing’s changed there — whatsoever, just ‘cause we don’t film together, we’re all still best friends.”

But where does Ariana stand with Tom, Scheana, and Lala? Well, Ariana cut ties with Tom in 2023, after she discovered her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was having an affair. Tom Schwartz admitted to knowing about his best friend’s infidelity but was hesitant to let Ariana know — a decision that effectively ended his and Ariana’s friendship.
The cheating scandal also caused a rift between Ariana and Scheana, who struggled to pick a side in the Ariana-Tom Sandoval breakup. Scheana addressed the situation in the October 3 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, saying she was still communicating with Ariana but their dynamic wasn’t the same.
“I saw her last week. I mean, we talk here and there, but I think we still need to have a deeper conversation,” she said. “We aren’t as close as we once were. But we have so much love for each other, so I know we’ll get back.”
While Scheana is optimistic about her relationship with Ariana, Lala isn’t convinced she and the cocktail book author will ever reconcile. The two had a massive falling out in Vanderpump Rules Season 11, with Lala accusing Ariana of displaying “divaness” after her breakup with Tom Sandoval. Lala was asked about the rift during an October 2024 interview on Jeff Lewis Live, saying a reconciliation with Ariana “will never happen.”
“Ariana, I will always be a cheerleader for,” Lala told the titular host. “She was absolutely fantastic on Broadway. She, I heard, killed it on Love Island. I’ve never watched the show and certainly didn’t start watching it because we’re not gonna, but I have no ill feelings about anybody on the show and I think that’s what it feels [like] for the first time. I just feel peace.”
