Lady Gaga hosted “Saturday Night Live” on March 8, and one star of “Vanderpump Rules” made the trip to support her new friend.
Scheana Shay posted numerous photos on her Instagram on March 9, including two of her with the famous singer. And the first one was the two hugging with huge smiles on their faces.
“Don’t be a drag, just be a queen,” Shay captioned the post, referencing Gaga’s hit song “Born This Way.”
This all stemmed from an interview with Vanity Fair where Lady Gaga answered numerous questions during a Lie Detector Test. Specifically, she was asked if she’s excited about a new cast for Bravo’s hit show.
“No,” she said but quickly changed her answer to yes before going back to no again.
The results were inconclusive.
She was then asked who she would miss most from the original cast.
“Scheana,” Lady Gaga answered.
Tom Sandoval Reacts To Lady Gaga’s Admission About ‘Vanderpump Rules’
During his time on “Watch What Happens Live” on March 5, Sandoval was asked what he thought about Shay being Lady Gaga’s favorite from “Vanderpump Rules.”
“I think that’s awesome,” Sandoval said. “Everybody has their different people that they like on the show, and obviously Gaga likes Scheana.”
Tom Sandoval Reveals Where He Stands With Scheana Shay
The aftermath of “Scandoval” left a lot of friendships damaged. For 10 years, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix had a very strong relationship that was documented on “Vanderpump Rules.” However, all this came to an end when it was revealed that Sandoval cheated on Madix with her best friend and their “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Rachel Leviss.
While Shay and Sandoval were close for many years, her relationship with Madix was stronger and she immediately rushed to her side after everything.
Specifically, during Season 11, Shay was seen navigating the feeling of missing her friendship with Sandoval, while not wanting to upset Madix. As a result, the two fell out of touch.
But now that it’s been some time, Sandoval gave an update on where he stands with Shay during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” on March 5.
“I have spoken to her. I actually sent her a text the other day because we used to play Dance Dance Revolution, and “Rock Lobster” popped up on the radio and I sent it to her,” Sandoval revealed. “So, yeah, we still talk.”
“Not like a ton. Obviously we’re all busy and that’s the one thing. When we’re not filming our show, we all take a little bit of a break,” he added. “But now we’re kind of coming back together again.”
